Calls for Applications: NEUROSOME “Exploring the neurological exposome” (H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions innovative training networks (ITN) – MSCA-ITN-2017)
We announce the start of the application period for 14 Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions offered by the ten host organisations participating in the Innovative Training Network (ITN) “Exploring the Neurological Exposome (NEUROSOME)”.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action “Exploring the Neurological Exposome (NEUROSOME) is an international research project, coordinated by Prof. Dimosthenis Sarigiannis from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), GREECE and is financed under the funding line “excellent science” of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme of the European Commission.
Description of the project
The project aims at exploring the environmental causes of neurodevelopmental disorders and their complex interplay with genetic predisposition and susceptibility. This will be achieved by developing a functional link between human biological monitoring (HBM) through data on exposure to specific environmental compounds, based on the evaluation and reanalysis of existing cohort biosamples and neurodevelopmental disorders, using the latest advances in environmental health science, namely the “exposome” approach for cumulative health risk and impact assessment. Deadline for application: April 16th 2018.
